Ronan O’Connell

A member of the Hession School of Irish Dancing, Ronan is a Multiple World Medal Holder who has competed in all major dancing championships and thrilling audiences and adjudicators with every step. 

As winners of the TG4 TV series ‘An Ril Deal’, Ronan and friend Dara went on to dance on Broadway in the prestigious Peter Norton Symphony Space Theatre – home of the world-famous Broadway Dance Academy. Ronan and Dara’s passion is combining intricate Irish dancing with modern music, and their original dance routine to Bruno Mars’ hit ‘Uptown Funk’ received standing ovations every night on Broadway.

Ronan is a founding member of the TikTok dance sensation Cairde – six friends who “replace traditional Irish music with mainstream hits and put our own twist on our routines.” The group has performed in the White House, Washington DC as well as in Paris for an 80,000-strong audience. Their videos have notched up over 300 million views and 3 million followers. Amazing to experience!
