Don Stiffe

Don Stiffe is considered one of the greatest singer-songwriters to have emerged on the Irish folk scene in recent years and has received critical acclaim and awards at home and abroad. His voice has been described as one of “rare expression and distinctive timbre” (Irish Examiner) while the Irish Music magazine describes his music as being in “the premier league”. Don became a household name with his stellar performances on the Ireland’s Got Talent TV show in 2011, which attracted live audiences of 800,000.

Don has played and recorded with the best of Irish musical talent – including Sharon Shannon, Dolores Keane, Maura O’Connell, the Kilfenora Céili band, Marcus Hernon, Lunasa and Cherish the Ladies. He was awarded ‘Song of the Year’ by Live Ireland.
