Evan O’Brien

Evan O’Brien was born in Chicago, Illinois where he began dancing at the age of five. In 2015 his family moved home to Headford, County Galway where he now dances for the well renowned Hession School of Irish Dance.

Evan is the current World Champion with back-to-back titles having won his first in 2022 and just this Easter retaining that title in Montréal, Canada. In addition to this he has also won two All-Ireland titles and seven consecutive Connacht titles. He is delighted to be joining Trad on the Prom this season alongside the many talented musicians and dancers.
