Brendan Hayes (aka Benny) (Pianos, keyboards, vocals) is a singer and multi-instrumentalist from Portumna, Co. Galway. He has been playing music with the other members of the Trad on the Prom band in various incarnations since they were teenagers together.

He went on to play in various trad, country and pop bands in his teens. He played piano and vocals with the traditional band Reeltime along with Chris and Máirín, and toured extensively with Reeltime while arranging much of the music for same.

He was part of the sensational and fun-loving turbo-trad Galway band "Furry Village" and has toured in Europe with the Máirín Fahy Band, and Scandinavia with renowned Danish violinist Kim Sjøgren.
