Carl Hession from Galway, has performed with such trad legends as Matt Molloy, Joe Burke, Shaskeen and Frankie Gavin as well as international stars including violin virtuoso Stéphane Grappelli. He also made recordings with jazz guitarist Louis Stewart.

For several years he was part of the highly-successful Rhythm of the Dance team with the National Dance Company of Ireland.
