Máirín's fiddle playing has been lauded as amazing and unique "The Girl on the White Hot Fiddle" (Empire Magazine), and, as the featured soloist with Riverdance, has performed for millions of people worldwide.

In addition, Máirín has also spent many years touring with multi-grammy award winning group the Chieftains. She has performed with the Chieftains and Art Garfunkel in Carnegie Hall, recorded with Dolores O' Riordan, The Cranberries and is featured in the Harrison Ford / Brad Pitt movie, "Devil's Own". She has played in Monaco for Prince Rainier and the Royal Family, in Tokyo for the Prince Emperor and at the Royal Albert Hall in London where she performed for Princess Diana at the Princess Trust.
